American History Adventures

Each year the Hobart Shakespeareans spend ten days back in Washington D.C.

They tour the nationís capital and other historic sights in Pennsylvania and Virginia. The children spend an additional 100 hours outside of school preparing for the trip.

Freedom is Not Free - The Korea Memorial, Washington D.C.

These young scholars have a real understanding of the Constitution, the Revolution, and the Civil War. The words on the monuments have become, in the words of Atticus Finch, a "living, breathing, reality."

These children are proud to be outstanding American citizens. Our nationís future will be stronger because of the work these children are doing today.
