Oregon Shakespeare Festival 2016

In July 2016, The Hobart Shakespeareans spent a wonderful week at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.

The students spent a year in preparation, even reading Great Expectations in its entirety to get ready for a terrific production. The kids voted Hamlet and Richard II as their favorite shows they saw. In addition to watching five productions, the Shakespeareans had time for soccer, swimming, brass rubbing, and enjoying summer days in beautiful Lithia Park.

They will be returning in 2017 to perform the Green Show for the Festival.

Special thanks to Helen Bing and Jan Miller for making such memorable days possible. We hope all our friends will be coming to the next Hobart Shakespearean production, Much Ado About Nothing, coming in June 2017.
